Brewery & Management course with HSWT certificate

The professional specialist course offers participants a detailed introduction and in-depth understanding of beer brewing, including theoretical basics, practical brewing exercises, sensory analysis and quality management. Insights into brewery operations and an excursion to a local brewery are also part of the training programme. The brewery course is part of the HSWT's Centre for Continuing Education, which supports lifelong learning and professional development.

Course content of the seminar for brewers

The specialised course teaches participants all aspects of beer brewing. It equips them with the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully run their own brewery or work in the beer industry. The teaching languages of the brewing seminar are German and English, translations into other languages are provided by HSWT.

Structure of the brewery course

The further training at the HSWT combines theoretical and practical content, which is taught by experienced brewers and lecturers from the brewing degree programme.

During the 5-day course, participating brewers learn at the Triesdorf campus. The cost of the beer brewing seminar is 100 euros per person per day. This includes the following services:

  • Professional translation of the course & teaching materials (will be translated into the desired language)
