Agronomic vegetable growing course in Triesdorf: the advantages
Anyone with a basic knowledge of vegetable growing who is looking for a plant protection course or a course in which they learn how to grow vegetables sustainably is in the right place here. Participants will expand their agronomic knowledge within five days. Experts from science and practice share their knowledge, as do lecturers from the Horticulture degree programme.
Various areas of horticulture are explored in depth in small groups - in several languages if necessary. At the end of the course, they receive a certificate from Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences to confirm their newly acquired knowledge. What participants can expect from the Vegetable Growing & Management course
The Vegetable Growing & Management course focuses exclusively on the agronomic aspects of vegetable growing and provides a comprehensive introduction to vegetable growing as well as specific cultivation techniques, agronomic principles, sustainability, soil management, fertilisation and plant protection, harvest and postharvest management. Through a combination of theoretical units, practical examples and excursions to leading vegetable farms, knowledge and skills in vegetable growing are expanded and deepened.
