Joe Engelhardt studied landscape management at the University of Applied Sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf in 1991. During his studies, he developed the so-called Heudrusch® process, he now uses in the eponymous company to ecologically enhance areas. "Heudrusch® makes it possible to green areas with native plants. Within a very short time, high-quality habitats are created with plant communities adapted to the soil and climate for centuries. The floristic identity of the region and its biological and genetic diversity are preserved." For the management of individual areas, Joe uses highland cattle, which he cares for lovingly.
