Alexandra Beyer is head of the libraries at the University of applied sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf. Their service is "open" to all university members, even in times of Corona:

  • borrowing is triggered by an order email, and
  • The items are then collected by appointment via the respective collection window (central library at the Weihenstephan campus or Triesdorf branch library at the Triesdorf campus).

The print collections of all four library areas of the university library can be borrowed - that is a total of a good 145,000 volumes. In addition, access to the entire e-media stock (56,000 eBooks & 13,000 eJournals) of the University of applied sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf is possible at any time, both on the entire campus and from home. Alexandra Beyer and her team provide support with regard to the various databases and the administration of the literature references found – meanwhile via video conference – for successful research in the search for suitable literature. The use of interlibrary loan – ordering literature not available at the University of applied sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf (books & journal articles) – is also still possible.
